How it works

Ultimate Descaler quickly and effectively dissolves limescale with ease and in one treatment.

How to use the product

Dilution rate: 1 part (80ml) solution to 8 parts (640ml) water. This should be adequate for a dishwasher and washing machine but double up if you feel it necessary.

Some more useful tips below:

Kettles

Fill the kettle with water to the halfway mark and bring to the boil. Then add 80ml of the descaling solution and leave for 3 to 4 minutes until the fizzing stops. Whilst treating, place over the sink in case of excess fizzing and ensure that the lid of the kettle is on. Pour away, then reboil the kettle with water, then pour down the sink before reusing your kettle.

Shower Heads

Mix the solution with one-part multi-purpose descaler and eight parts hot water before immersing your shower head completely until the fizzing stops. Before reusing, ensure that the shower head is thoroughly rinsed using cold water to rid of any solution.

Steam Irons

Mix one part solution (80ml) with eight parts water in to a jug. Slightly warm up the iron and then unplug it from the socket. Pour the mixed solution into the water chamber up to the normal level. Whilst the iron is over the sink, press the steam button on your iron until all the solution has been used. Repeat once again with cold water until the solution has been used. Wipe the plate of the iron before using.

Coffee Makers

We would advise to always refer to the manufacturers handbook with regards to descaling your coffee maker. Mix one part of the descaling solution (80ml) to eight parts water and add to the reservoir of the coffee maker. Switch the machine once and run as normal. Empty the machine and repeat the process twice more with clean water.
